Taken from the tapestry, Perryville Morning, October 8, 1862, by Louise Dearborn, this poster reflects the morning before the fierce Battle of Perryville. Made with various fabrics, Dearborn brings the civilian story to life with her creative depiction of Union and Confederate armies in the agrarain town of Perryville. Rich in colors and details, this poster is one-of-a-kind, and the original tapestry is on display at the Perryville Community Center.
